Girona is a place which is just like its Catalan equivalent, Barcelona. This city is a place which can be a perfect destination for weekends. Its streets are narrow but have many historical resources from all era, which has bars of superb quality and good restaurants for lively selection.
From long time Girona is known as city of 1000 sieges by local, but no person predicted what is coming in coming days. The city is now filled with international journals, gourmands, TV aficionados because the game related to thrones season 6 will be shot here. Afternoon It is the time which should be spent in roaming around Girona's most charming and quirkiest place, small Museum Cinema. It is place which is worth the visit as it has collection of unique things that comprise the lantern from Rick's café in Casablanca, Robert de Niro's boxing glove of raging Bull, Johnny Depp's scissor hands, Dustin Hoffman's red sequinned Tootsiedress and many more things. On the road there are Roca bro magic in the corner of Rocambolesc (can get more on rocambolesc.com about it), jordi Wonkaesue parlour of ice-cream, the chef Ablaze pastry with colour that the pipes present over there are painted with the colour white and red, the barley style sugar ice crème and sorbet which is one o the best and you won't find anywhere else.
Evening As the night arrives, the city starts looking old with the locals all collected at one place for vermouth before dinner in a bar which is given with olives of green colour, orange slice and soda squirt. The El Vermutet (Calle Bonaventura Carreras I Peralta 7, +34 619 70 53 00) is a place for it which is just off Placa de I'Oli. From here there is Sant Marti church just a minute walk away on sixteenth century marble step which leads here. In the halfway there is a flatten terrace form which is the best place for dinner in whole Girona is Le Bistrot. It is a place which has swifts rotating over head and whole place scented with the jasmine flower. The bill of fare is also good, aged formed eatery soul which has part of French and part of Catalan food (one should try trinxat, as Catalan like fizz and squeal or they love mashed potatoes, lots of cabbage and also pork together).
